Tyrian is a vertical shoot-em-up from Eclipse Productions, dating from 1995.

I loved playing this game and wasted away many hours playing this as a kid, and thought this would be something I really want on my Android phone.

Currently there is a working SDL port of the game available on the Android Market. However my project was started as a learning experience, mostly to learn the basics of OpenGL and game engines, and is completely unaffiliated. Work will continue on this as when I have free time.

This port is based on the OpenTyrian project, which is actually used as a shared library.

The source is available at from github.

License information for Tyrian for Android can be found on github.

    Changelog:

    0.01

    Builds opentyrian library
    Initial import
